As a follow up to my previous post. I have attached a copy of my letter to Freemans...... Just thought people may be interested
Dear sirs.
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction at the level of service recieved from your company.
You will no doubt have seen my account notes showing the damage your service has done to my families xmas. Your failure to resolve issues or even offer to resolve is incredible. I would welcome the opportunity to speak with your CEO who I believe is Tony Hill (As named by David a supervisor in the call centre).
In summary my wife ordered a xmas present for me on the 9th December. She made various calls to your call centre chasing delievry and was told it would be delivered, it had been dispatched and Xmas eve at the latest. It never arived and still hasn't.
Last night I had call from a young man in the call centre who told me he waned to talk about the Camera. I did not know what the item was and as previously stated it was to be a Xmas present. I now know that there are notes on the account stating this (I was informed of this by David the supervisor)
Amazingly David has also suggested that the outcome may be that you cant deliver and will issue a credit. Well that is appalling. Do Freemans simply wish to earn a reputation for destroying xmas and walking away. I will be interested to see how you advertise that.
